The Pro-Integrity: Promoting Integrity in the Public Sector project organised the forum "International Anti-Corruption Day – From Euromaidan to European Integration". The event was supported by the National Agency for Corruption Prevention (NAZK) and NABU.
The forum brought together a wide range of participants, including representatives of anti-corruption bodies, state institutions, local governmant business, the public and investigative journalists. Participants discussed the achievements, challenges and prospects of anti-corruption activities in Ukraine and highlighted best practices for implementing integrity.
Among the high-ranking officials who participated in the forum were Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, Deputy Prime Minister for Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine – Minster of Justice of Ukraine Olha Stafanishyna, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Oleg Nemchinov, First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Kornienko, as well as representatives of relevant ministries, stste bodies, public and international organisations.
The forum emphasised the importance of fighting corruption in wartime. It was noticed that corruption undermines the country`s defence capabilities and economic stability. Ukraine, in cooperation with its European partners, is making every effort to eradicate corruption and strengthen integrity at all levels.
The SE INFOTECH was awarded an honorary award and a diploma `For the implementation of Self-Assessment of Conflict of Interest.` The award was received on behalf of the enterprise by Ruslan Blagoy, Commissioner for the Prevention of Corruption.
SE INFOTECH systemaatically implements anti-corruption standards. The company has a Code of Enthics and Conduct that regulates issues of business ethics, prevention of conflicts of interest and corruption. Employees regulary undergo training on anti-corruption issues and are required to adhere to certain principles in their work.
